Frequently Asked Questions

How does foaming body wash compare to a gel wash?

We've developed a foaming product that cleans and nourishes your skin just like a regular quality body wash. It's gentle on the skin (without being drying), and a highly effective cleanser. One of the reasons we choose to create foaming products is their ability to moderate consumption. Each pump mixes the soap solution with air to create a lovely foam, using fewer active ingredients than traditional gels. You'll need a few more pumps than usual (typically 6-8 for the average adult) and will consume it faster, but overall the price remains more affordable than a comparible gel body wash—with a 500ml refill costing only $4.67-$5 each.

Oh and the biggest reason of them all, lathering yourself with our silky foam just feels great! Once you go foam, you won't go back.

Is the foaming body wash suitable for sensitive skin?

Absolutely! Our foaming body wash has been formulated with sensitive skin in mind. Specifically, it has a gentle formulation containing mild surfactants that effectively clean without stripping the skin's natural oils. If you’re unsure, you can read genuine reviews from other Skippers on the product pages.

How does it work?

In five easy steps you'll have a full bottle of foaming body wash:

1. Fill the dispenser with hot water from the tap.

2. Drop in a refill tablet.

3. Leave the pump off while it dissolves, typically about an hour.

4. Dispose the wrapper in the compost bin or regular trash.

5. Shake to activate before first use. This is important to ensure the solution is mixed properly.

That's it! Pump into your hands and lather up (the average adult uses 6-8 pumps per wash)

Pro tip: A foaming product uses less active ingredients versus a gel per pump. This means you'll consume a bottle of foaming soap faster than a gel—approximately every ~4 weeks if used twice daily by a single person.

Our refills are only $4.67-$5 each and remain better value overall when comparing to quality brands and traditional gel products.
