Absolutely! For starters, we’ve designed them so you can use them time and time again, refilling them for life. You’ll also get the choice between a glass or HDPE plastic dispenser bottle - giving you the option to choose your favourite. Both glass and HDPE are readily recyclable, meaning that even when they do reach the end of their lifespan, they can be turned into something new.

If you notice your Skipper hand wash bottle is looking a little dusty and needs a freshen up, it’s super easy to get it looking brand new again. For starters, you can always just dispense a few pumps of your hand soap and wash the outside of your bottle off if it’s a bit on the dusty side. For anything more ingrained, you can give it a spray down with our universal cleaner and give it a gentle scrub with a microfibre cloth - it’ll look as good as new.

Our pump dispensers are made especially with our own hand wash refills in mind. They’re designed to mix the air and soap together to form just the right consistency to get your hands clean and feeling fresh. In theory, they might work with other soap formulations - but we can’t guarantee you’ll get the same gentle, foamy, fluffy lather you get when you choose one of our own refill tablets.

Their gentle ingredients are just the right balance between cleansing and hydrating, making our hand wash the perfect choice for those with more sensitive skin. We include aloe vera and vitamin E in our hand soap refill tablets to make them hydrating, so no matter how often you’re washing up, you’ll be left with clean, soft hands.

Absolutely! We’ve worked hard to make sure they’re as environmentally conscious as possible, from the compostable wrappers for the hand wash tablets, through to the reusable pump bottles. It’s not just household waste and single-use plastics you’re cutting back on though - they’re also free from harsh chemicals that are rough on your skin and the waterways. We make our hand soap refills without triclosan, VOCs, phthalates, parabens and phosphates. They’re not only better for the planet, they’re a healthier choice for you, too.

If you’re flying overseas, gifting our hand soap refills to friends and family, or simply taking some with you to go camping, yes, you can travel with them. While the glass container looks beautiful on your bathroom counter or near the kitchen sink, it’s far more fragile. So when you’re travelling and need a pump to use for your hand soap, we’d recommend opting for one of our HDPE dispensers. They look great in a caravan or motorhome!

They’re resilient enough to go in your bag and make a great option for when you don’t want to leave home without Skipper! If something does go amiss (or your pump isn’t working properly anymore) don’t worry - we’ve got you covered there too, with replacement foaming pumps so you can keep your bottle and only replace what you need.

As with any refillable bottle, we’ve made it super simple and easy to do. To start with, fill your dispenser with hot water from the tap up to the fill line, remove your hand wash refill of choice from its compostable wrapper and drop it into your dispenser. Wait for the tablet to dissolve with the pump off. As the tablet dissolves it can create pressure if the pump is left on and cause issues. Once dissolved, close everything up, give it a little bit of a shake.. It’ll take around an hour at the longest, and then you’re all set to use your hand soap again.

Our formulation is a little different from other foaming soaps, with slightly different ingredients. They need just the right amount of water to give you that wonderfully dense and fluffy foam, which is what’s so great about our own hand wash dispensers. Equally, the pump itself makes sure to mix air in with the soapy formula, giving you an even texture - which we can’t guarantee you’ll get with a different foaming dispenser.
