We love that people want to opt for bottles that are refillable for life. Unfortunately, the pump dispenser on our bottles isn’t designed for shampoo or conditioner. With all of our face wash, hand wash and body wash tablets coming in a solid format that’s designed to be mixed with water, the bottle was designed with this in mind. The pump and the tube attached to it are designed for thin, water-based soap solutions, but it wouldn’t be up to the task of drawing the density that your average shampoo or conditioner has.

With a 500ml capacity, our body wash dispenser bottles are designed to be perfectly compatible with our body wash refill tablets. The pump mixes your soapy mixture with air, giving you that light and fluffy foam that makes getting clean such a breeze.

Running low on body wash? No worries, topping it back up takes no time at all. You’ll want to start by choosing your favourite fragrance in our body wash refill collection, removing it from its wrapper, then popping it into your body wash dispenser. (Don’t forget that the wrappers are home-compostable!) 

Then, turn your tap on to hot, as the heat helps your tablet dissolve. Fill it up to the line on the side of the bottle and close it up. It’ll take around an hour (at most) to fully mix through the water, then you’re ready to dispense a few pumps and get refreshingly clean in the shower!

Absolutely! We’ve made our full range of dispensers in two material options - you can pick from glass or HDPE (which is a form of plastic). Glass looks great in the shower and is readily recyclable. For those of you who keep your body wash on a shelf or the edge of the bath and want something sturdy in case of the odd accidental shower drop, our HDPE option is perfect. It’s also fully recyclable, and we can even take your old pumps off your hands if you return them to us. From there, they can be broken down and remade into something new once again.

Cleaning your body wash dispenser is super simple - you can give it a wipe down with a cloth now and again if it has soap residue, or give it a spray with some universal cleaner to freshen it up. Noticing a drop in foam production? Sometimes it’s a simple matter of popping in a new filter, rather than replacing the whole pump - though if you do need a new pump, we stock those too, and we give them to you for free!
