Yes, we’ve formulated our products to be gentle on skin as much as possible and this one is absolutely suitable for bare hand washing. The most important thing is to keep your hands away from the concentrate powder when you’re refilling, but the liquid itself is unlikely to cause you any issues. If you have broken skin, or are especially sensitive, you might want to do a patch test first just to make sure - or wear dish washing gloves.

Absolutely! In fact, that’s the whole point. The dispensers are made from HDPE plastic, which is completely recyclable and they’re made to be refilled over and over again. We opted for plastic with these ones given how much they’re handled, making them lighter and less fragile than glass, but still capable of being reused for a long time before they need replacing. 

Getting a fresh batch of your eco dish wash liquid is easy. Just fill the dispenser with hot tap water to the fill line, cut open the compostable sachet that holds the dish wash concentrate powder and pour it into your bottle. Screw the cap back on, hold your finger over the opening to prevent it opening and give it a good cocktail-like shake to mix. Give it an hour or so to transform into a gel-based dish liquid. Give it one final quick shake, and then it’s ready to use!

We’ve made our super special dish wash liquid with handwashing in mind and unfortunately, due to the foamy nature of our dish liquid, it’s not compatible with dishwashers. If you put it in the detergent compartment, you’d most likely just end up with a whole lot of bubbles coming out of your machine. But that doesn’t mean you can’t use Skipper in your dishwasher!
